The ladies of Atlanta came out and showed out! Honestly, I was not expecting that large of a turnout. But when we sold out in a few days at 20 we opened up registration for a few more seats. We had over 25 women in attendance and though there were so many women, the room and the feeling of love felt amazing and just right.
Being an event planner its is natural for me to put events together and create experiences for my clientele. It is a great feeling doing that for my hobby and tying the two into it. Project Sew has come a long way. This didn’t just start overnight. There were times where it was just me and 3 ladies in attendance. But what didn’t change is I never gave up. My goal is for everyone to pick up sewing. For women to come together and use the thread that brings us together.
It was so amazing seeing those I follow in person and not behind the social media. Seeing these beautiful and talented ladies warmed my heart and spirit.
Here are some pictures from the day before when Nikki and took me to TopStitchATL. I was able to meet some of my favs that I follow and love and we had a nice night out on the town. I met my sorority sewing sisters too!!\
Look out for the next dates! I am so excited and look forward to visiting the A very soon!
